The theme of this year’s Met Gala was Eclectic, and the outfits were stunning to say the least. The Met Gala is held every year in New York as a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Every year the gala has a theme that everyone should dress according too. It is a prestigious event that only the handpicked rich and famous get invited to. The inspiration of the Met Gala is old Hollywood, the old film events in the 1950’s and even earlier. The glitz and glamour of the event and its guest makes this a very important date in the year. And the most important part? The fashion of course!
Many celebrities have made headlines in the past from wearing the most eye catching and beautiful outfits to ones that definitely missed the target. As the themes are very hard to really present, each person has their own view and that’s what makes it so amazing.
The event took place on 13th of September and the guests looked marvellous. Guests that were there included Billie Eilish, Kaia Gerber, Megan Thee Stallion, Kendall Jenner and Gemma Chan. Most of the celebrities took inspiration from their American heritage. Billie wore a gorgeous cream gown which designed by Oscar De La Renta. Kaia Gerber wore a black gown also by Oscar De La Renta which inspired by Bianca Jagger. Megan Thee Stallion also took inspiration from the 50’s while Kendall Jenner and Gemma Chan took inspiration from celebrities in movies.

Must say, Kim K's outfit was out of this world. She really went overboard in my opinion. 😅
Billie Elish really had all the attention focused on her beautifully designed dress. She really elevated herself on a personal level in revealing her true self .Not only did she look so gorgeous in the dress but she sure changed people's perception of her in terms of how people viewed her. She looked like a true disney princess !
My favorite really was Billie my Queen shined at the Met Galas no one really expected to see this side of her 😍😍The dress gave me Princess vibes so elegant, beautiful and classy.
I honestly look forward to seeing people’s looks at the Met Gala every year but for some reason, they weren’t cutting it this year? I feel like a lot of people missed the theme but apart from that there were a couple of looks I really liked. Iman looked so v and graceful but my favourite has to be Rihanna 😩
